We've been hanging out with more Aussies than Americans lately and have had to adjust a little to figure out what they are saying. So, a dictionary was in order. The girls, of course, picked it up quickly. Lisa and I, at times, were scratching our heads.

- Breakie or Brekkie ~ Breakfast
- Bubble-lish ~ Term of endearment as in "Honey" or "Sweetie"
- Chippies ~ French Fries
- Crook ~ Sick
- Dag ~ Affectionate term for fool or idiot
- Dead horse ~ Ketchup
- Dummie ~ pacifier
- Dunny ~ toilet
- Fluffy ~ Flatulence
- Hoons ~ Hooligan, rev-heads
- Jello ~ Jelly
- Jelly ~ Jello
- Lifie ~ Life Jacket
- Lobbie ~ Lobster
- Lollie ~ candy, lollipop
- Loo ~ Bathroom
- Milkbar ~ corner mom and pop shop

- Wingeing ~ Whining, complaining, as in "those Wingeing POME's" (whining English)
